Our Wedding Stationery checklist will ensure you have everything you need for your big day, from Save the Dates to Invitations to Day-of Stationery.
Before the Day Stationery
Save the Dates
Once you’ve set a date and booked your venue, it’s time to send out your Save the Dates. All your Save the Dates will usually include the couple’s names, the date and venue or location of your wedding. With as minimal details as possible, to inform your guests of when your wedding is taking place.
We recommend keeping it cohesive to sit back with all your other Wedding Stationery.
Invitation Suite
The first glimpse of your wedding, which sets the overall tone for the big day., we think of this being the star of the show. Traditionally made up of five cards including:
The Invitation
This should include the couple's names as the centre stage, who is hosting the wedding. The date, start and end time and location of your wedding and dress code.

Details Card or Enclosure Card
This card will have any additional details you want to give your guests, such as accommodation, travelling to the ceremony or reception venues, gift registry and a link to a wedding website.
RSVP Card
What would be considered a more traditional way of capturing your guests reply and dietary requirements, this card could also be used to have your wedding website details.
Map or Directions Card
With an illustrated map design with some local attractions, this can help to pinpoint where your venue is. Especially if it's a destination or in an iconic location.
Registry
An optional card providing your guests with information on your gift registry or if you would prefer a donation or no boxed gifts.
Thank You Cards
We recommend having these designed and printed before your wedding day, so you are prepared to write all your thank you notes after your wedding day. Unless you are using a photo from your wedding for the card.

Day of Stationery
Order of Ceremony
Usually in a booklet form, this gives your guests an overview of your ceremony, including your bridal party. This differs between religions and ceremony styles, but we also think is a great keepsake of your ceremony!
Reserved Seat Signs
A great way to ensure your closest relatives and bridal party have front row seats at your ceremony. Usually personalised with the guests name and roles, if they have them.
Welcome Sign
Placed at an entrance to the venue, can be quite minimal with details, including the couple's names, date and venue. They can come in all shapes and sizes for most impact.
Escort Cards
An Escort Card will list each table number or name along with the guests name. Usually in alphabetical order for the guest to be able to find their name easily.
Once thought as a traditional item of stationery, but they can be quite modern with more elaborate displays to house the cards.
Seating Chart
Typically displayed in the reception to help guest find their seats, like the Welcome Sign, they can come in different shapes and sizes for an eye-catching display
Table Numbers or Names
Simply put on the tables so guests can find where they are going to be sat throughout the reception.
Place Cards
Similar to the Escort Cards, Place Cards are placed on the tables to help guests find where they are being seated.
Dinner Menu
A Menu card which can be personalised with the guests name and dietary requirements. A dinner menu can be used with the place card for a more budget friendly option.
Drinks or Bar Menu
Placed on the bar with signature cocktails chosen by the couple or a full bar menu.
